Anonymous asked: Aren't you concerned about your nipples showing? Embarassing!
To quote BraFree.org, “Nipples are not sex organs, nor are they filthy, nor are they disgusting.” There’s nothing embarrassing about nipples! They are not sex organs, they’re not dirty, they’re not unnatural, and everyone has them. They are “nutrient delivery systems” for babies. Men go shirtless often and never wear bras and their nipples are on display for all to see, but that doesn’t seem to bother anyone. So why should women’s nipples be considered embarrassing??
I understand that it may be uncomfortable at first- to go from wearing bras that completely disguise the existence of your nipples to wearing blouses, t-shirts, dresses, etc. and have them visible through most fabrics. I know I was worried at first, but now I don’t even notice it! :) It’s really just a matter of getting used to it and not caring about what anyone thinks or says. This is your body’s natural state and you shouldn’t have to hide it or worry about it!
If you’re really concerned or embarrassed about your nipples showing through your clothes, consider wearing a scarf that can drape over your breasts, “bra tape”, nipple covers, shirts with pockets, double layers, etc. There are many ways to conceal them without a bra if you don’t feel comfortable. :)
